Basic Betch Season

FALLL is basically here. The Pumpkin Spice Latte is back at Starbucks, earlier than normal, and although it is crazy hot here in Washington D.C. at like 95 degrees, I am ready to embrace everything fall has to offer. The only thing I do not like about fall? It's not long enough.

Currently I am planning my "perfect" wedding for Fall of 2019. I cannot wait to work on chic fall decor and centerpieces. I am constantly trying to get inspiration. Seriously, if you have any unique fall wedding ideas COMMENT below. There is only so far Pinterest can get me.

So currently instead of worrying about the wedding I am shopping for fall clothes. Although I do not technically NEED any more jackets... I am still obsessed.

First things first, I am currently so inspired by the Urban Renewal line at Urban Outfitters. So many cute, one of a kind vintage pieces that make me want to go into major credit card debt.

Second thing, Nordstrom is hosting Fall Beauty trend events at a lot of their stores... its free to sign up so check it out! Information is on their

Alright now lets move into my picks for fall...

Happy Shopping! and happy last few days of summer before Fall truly hits.

Athleisure is a girl's best friend

I recently found myself explaining to a male coworker what "athleisure" is. We have a super casual office dress policy and when the boss is away I tend to partake in athleisure #sorrynotsorry. So I really started thinking how did the whole athleisure movement get started? I pin it down to one company really... Lululemon. When Lululemon came out with their high end workout gear that also made a style statement the idea that athletic gear and fashion could merge became relevant. Since then we have seen the re-emergence of brands like Adidas, Reebok, and Champion that had once become "boring" and have now come out with trendy new lines. Personally, I hope the athleisure trend is here to stay since I basically live in cool leggings and workout jackets.
